Nationwide, “
Recovery Month” is celebrated
every September and is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT). Locally, several government agencies, non-profit agencies, private treatment providers will be raising awareness of substance abuse prevention, treatment and the benefits of long-term recovery from addiction. This year’s national theme is “JOIN THE VOICES FOR RECOVERY: NOW MORE THAN EVER.
Please join us at the Proclamation signing on
Monday, Aug. 30 at 1:30 p.m., Governor’s Complex and at any of the open houses.
